the pharmacist is hardly ever there making it extremely hard to pick up medications. their open hours are not necessarily true, so call before you go there if you can. even better, just find another walgreens (even if it's a little farther) and not have to deal with these people. if you need medications promptly, do not send your prescription to this walgreens. 0/5 stars

This the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have even experienced. Medication regularly not in stock and needs to be ordered so waited for extra days. There is one lady who is terribly rude to patients, it’s happened a few times. Just got out of surgery, pain meds and antibiotics sent to the Walgreens. I get there on my way home from the hospital they say they only have one and never got the pain med script. Mayo confirms they sent it there. Had it transferred to a different Walgreens so I could actually get it expedited, as it’s now past the time for my pain med dose. This location is terrible, the other Walgreens on Guadalupe in Gilbert is expediting my meds, I will never go to the one in Mesa again.

I tried to call pharmacy @ Guadalupe & Alma School to have all (9) prescriptions transferred to this location. I called at 1:20. After bypassing prompts to get to pharmacy, I received a recording all lines were busy and to please hold. So, I did. 1:30 struck with no response so I hung up, respecting their lunch hour. (Do you think they put all calls on hold early to ensure they are able to leave when they want to? ) I called back at 2:30, bypassed prompts again, phone clicked answered, but immediately put on hold again without a greeting. Eventually, I got service but none too customer oriented. I decided to transfer only the one prescription that I need today. I suspect that my earlier call was indeed a rudely forwarded to "all lines are busy" so they can go to lunch early. I'll keep shopping for a kinder pharmacy.

Stopped by to use their Western Union service for sending money to family in Europe. The entire process is computerized with simple and easy to follow prompts on screen and a nearby associate to assist if required.
