Had the best experience ever picking up my rx yesterday. A team member with initials T.J. helped me sort out an insurance complication over the phone, and then later greeted me warmly at the drive thru, while making a cheerful reference to our prior interaction. This team member really made my day, as her knowledge, kindness patience, and good-natured attitude really diffused what could have been a very stressful situation for me. Employees like this keep customers like me coming back again and again.

One of the better Walgreens in town! The pharmacy staff is amazing. I came in cause I accidently canceled a new script. Once I got there and they saw my condition ( warm death walking) they rushed my scripts to let me get home to rest. This happened first week of May. To the staff working. I truely appreciate it !

I had the most wonderful experience with someone in the pharmacy department. I believe their name was Tilesha. I had a rx that was over $100. She realized and rectified that the rx had an old coupon code, changed it to the new coupon code, and then it only cost me $30!! Tilesha made my whole week, my whole month, and not to mention, Christmas, so much better! It was just the break I needed this month. Tilesha is an angel on earth. (Edit: I hope I'm spelling their name right. Also, everyone that I've ever interacted with in the pharmacy at the Holland road pharmacy has been so kind. Which believe me, has not been my experience moving around the country and having to get my rxs for the past decade.)

The staff here are just out-of-this-world rude and condescending. Seriously. If I needed to get any OTC medication for my allergies or simply pain medicine for migraine headaches / body aches without being ID carded at the checkout counter because I apparently look like a teenager even though I am a grown adult woman and be on the receiving end of the cashier’s blatantly disrespectful attitude towards me, I would rather make the drive to go to another pharmacy like CVS or another Walgreens further out just to avoid the inexcusable unprofessionalism and unnecessary bullshit. I understand Virginia has new laws regarding the sell of OTC medications, but the general dismissive rudeness and condescension towards me when informing me of this was uncalled for, asinine and infuriating considering the fact that I am an adult and shouldn’t be spoken to like a child.

They locked the over-the-counter med I needed. I walked all the aisles and there was NO ONE to assist. No one at checkout either. Asked the guy at pharmacy, said theres a "button". Saw no such thing. Walked out due to lack of service. Cant even buy medicine there. What's the point?
