Can’t speak to the pharmacy at all but the store it’s self is amazing. Great staff, professional and helpful. They actually try to be fair with products in the store and are always honest about availability. 10/10, will continue to shop here

Let me start by saying I am not someone who takes to the internet to write complaints lightly. But this was an absolutely ridiculous experience. I first went to the Walgreens on the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Little Neck rd in Virginia Beach to pick up my prescription. I waited about 30 minutes in line and was told they don't have it in stock even though I had called to fill it in the morning and was told they will fill it. Fine, things happen, no big deal. They told me I can call another Walgreens and have them transfer it to their store. I called the Walgreens on the corner of Nimmo Parkway and Upton Drive and asked them to transfer it there. They said I'd have to call the Walgreens on Little Neck to have them release it. So I call them and the woman on the phone said they have released it. I call the Walgreens on Upton Drive back and they tell me that it isn't released and I have to call them back to send it. I call Little Neck AGAIN and they say they can't send it, Upton has to request it. I call Upton back and tell them they have to request it. At this point the lady says there's nothing she can do so I explain to her the ridiculous situation I'm dealing with and politely ask if they can conference call or call Little Neck Walgreens and settle this because I have been back and forth 4-5 times at this point. She then asks me if I'd like to speak to the pharmacist. I take her up on it. As soon as the pharmacist gets on the phone she wouldn't let me say 2 words before she started yelling at me accusing me of yelling at her staff. I was perhaps a little frustrated but I absolutely did not at any point raise my voice. I calmly tried to interject and explain (I just wanted to get to the bottom of this because I had been passed back and forth so many times) the situation. She then yelled at me saying I wasn't even their customer. Excuse me? I'm a Walgreens customer regardless of the store. At this point I did say she needed to watch her attitude and she hung up on me. The pharmacist at the Upton Drive/Nimmo Parkway location needs to be fired or disciplined unless Walgreens thinks this is an acceptable way to treat customers. I can say with absolute certainty I will never have a prescription sent to Walgreens again following this experience. Plenty of Krogers around.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens I have used in 10 years! The online status is junk at best! It says in progress one day and the next it says canceled with no explanation! I know they are short staffed but if they wanted to improve customer service the corporation could upgrade their online ordering and status process!!!

I hate browsing for obscure vitamins and supplements at Walgreens. However, when I walked in today a worker, Mitchell, went out of his way to help me. He was the most helpful and genuinely kind Walgreens employee I’ve ever met.

How dumb is it that everyone in the pharmacy at this Walgreens on Nimmo Parkway in Virginia Beach, VA has to go to lunch at the same time?! Where does that ever happen in customer service nowadays? The line was sooooo long that you couldn’t even see the sign that they closed at 1:30 for lunch until you got closer to the window, then you see the faded sign. I will be switching my prescriptions to Walmart.
