I have used and shopped at Walgreens for 50 years with the occasional foray to other pharmacies which were not satisfying. Except for the occasional glitch they have the best prices and pharmacy. I get all of my vaccines there as well and have never had an issue with insurance. When my mother was ill their pharmacists were helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Walgreens.

I've been going to this Walgreens since 2011. I really love the staff. The store has always left a little to be desired because they don't restock timely but such is life. About a year ago they installed this awful "touch screen" check in system to pick up prescriptions. It doesn't work. Twice I tried to check in and it never will acknowledge I've touched the screen. The staff wont help you unless you are checked in. So I started going through the drive through to avoid their touch screen that doesn't work. Today the line at the drive through was six cars long. I waited for five minutes with no movement so I went in and tried the "touch screen" again. To no one's surprise it did not respond to touch. I'm calling my doctor in the AM and having my scripts moved the CVS two blocks north on Lamar. Customer service isn't hard or complicated. I don't work for Walgreens. I shouldn't have to check myself in at all and if I do have to, the tool to do so should work. This is what happens when private equity buys a business. No more money from me to Walgreens. Best of luck to the staff though. Those guys are great.

When I called there today, I spoke with a pharmacist named Erin. She is rude and sarcastic. It’s not the first time either. Walgreens should think twice about having her there bc she’s awful. Then when I went to pick up the prescriptions for my mother, there was a girl named Trinity assisting me. She was rude too! I don’t understand how people can work in a field where compassion and empathy are required. Is the entire staff this way. I told my mother I am going to transfer her prescriptions to CVS where I get mine filled. I don’t want anyone speaking to my mother the same way they spoke to me!

I am leaving this review as a call to action from Walgreens corporate. This pharmacy is severely understaffed. Jasmine, one of the techs is absolutely incredible. Kudos to her for being the exception to the rule here! She is outstanding. Please help this team. The morale and resources are painfully lacking. I have never experienced such slow and unfriendly service at a pharmacy. *ALSO* the outdoor drive through speaker is BROKEN. The computer is constantly frozen. Why is this this absolute worst pharmacy, with the meanest team members ever? Improve the quality of life for the employees and customers PLEASE.

Their new pharmacy system that forces you to check in and then it doesn’t serve you for 10 minutes, while drive in customers get served, is horrible. Will be taking my prescriptions to the CVS down the road where you can just walk up and talk to a human.
