Calling their customer service poor is a disservice to atrocious customer service everywhere. It was disrespectful customer service. I was on hold with the pharmacy 1 hour and 25 minutes and 33 seconds. When I talked to an employee, there was little concern. I was told I could come in to fix an insurance issue that I had already fixed once in store. This is on top of the wait time including mind numbing a hold message stating "We're sorry our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we'll be with you shortly." This was every 30 seconds (I timed). Minus the ~5 min of useless conversation with an employee, I heard that message 121 times. The only thing worse than having an hour and a half of your life wasted is being gas light 121 times. If you have to tell me sorry 121 times in 90 min, you're not sorry. The pharmacy, store, district and regional managers should be docked pay for not fulfilling their duties. Putrid customer service. Do better as a humans. To make matters worse, not all my scripts will be ready. I am leaving for business this week. I will not have medication I need. I am a veteran. I will be contacting my house rep. This has to be some breach of govt contract. I realize nothing will likely happen, but this is not my first pitiful experience with this Walgreens. Read their reviews. The lack of customer service is simply disrespectful to their customers. Shame.

It's more of a 2 and a half. They employees probably do the best they can. I've seem really rude customers in there so it's got to suck dealing with that all day. They don't give full cha ge back anymore of you pay cash. As in they keep your pennies. I was astounded by that. I consider that theft. Because it is. Which is strange since they are so anti theft. Don't bother buying makeup or cleaning products. It's all locked up! I bet their sales are way down over that alone. Most women like to look at products and compare. Well you can't do that so there is no point. They should have a sign about no pennies at the store. People work hard for their money and deserve every cent they ear back in their pocket. I did find out that the federal reserve isn't making pennies anymore but I totally don't belive they don't exist anymore. If they want to play that game they can change the prices to reflect the correct amount in nickel amounts. Corporate is running walgreens into the ground. How corrupt. Theft is extremely morally corrupt and I'm shocked that a fairly large company os trying to gaslight people into thinking it's okay. Save your pennies people you need them so companies won't steal from you.

WORST PHARMACY EVER. We have been using this Walgreens for 6+ years and have always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt due to staffing issues. However, today their incompetence/failure to understand dispensing dates and horrendous lack of communication has never made me happier to transfer to HEB pharmacy. Our dog is prescribed phenobarbital for cluster seizures. Recently he has had a dosage increase due to increased seizures. My husband called yesterday(05/09/26) to confirm our refill would be ready today, which was confirmed by the tech.We recently requested a refill (based on our original fill date of 4/09/26) today 5/10/26. The original date they had only dispensed 75/90 pills. On 4/11/26 we picked up the remaining 15 pills. Our dog takes 3 pills a day. 90 divided by 3 = 30 days. AKA all 90 pills prescribed will have been taken by him TODAY. They were so incredibly rude and dismissive of the fact that our dog could die without this medication that is prescribed to him. Pharmacists/Pharmacy techs are usually competent in basic math but apparently not today! I’ve had other issues with my own medications here on regular occasions but enough is enough. Beware of expecting anything other than awful in regard to your health or your loved one’s health when prescribed medications are involved.

I should written this review a long time ago, I am a recurring customer at this location for several years, when in Austin this is my go to.Rey "Night Manager" Always goes above and beyond with hospitality and Patience especially with the elderly and the Physically challenged. Kind courteous and professional is rare today what a Gem of a model public service person. Thank you Walgreens you hired the right person.

The entire Makeup section is locked up like they think everyone’s gonna steal something and then they bring, whatever you wanted to buy up to the front, very inconvenient for making multiple selections in the Makeup section and buying more than one thing. It’s like you need someone to walk around and shop with you if you wanna get Makeup there. You also have to wait and press a button for someone to come unlock the selection. I understand that people steal things seems a bit excessive in my opinion. Also really the only Walgreens I’ve seen take it this far.
