Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

THIS IS NOT IN A REGULAR WALGREENS. They were very nice, polite and helpful, but this pharmacy is inside a hospital or medical building near OSU campus with no clear parking. If you just want a RX refill, do not go here because I could not find their parking lot and campus is notorious for ticketing and towing people in seconds. There is a Kroger with a pharmacy a couple blocks away and several other pharmacies with parking lots nearby. I'm not sure where their lot is but the street is a tow zone and the lot in back is for another hospital.

To say I'm impressed with this Pharmacy would be such an understatement. The personal attention that I was given by Jared and his staff is unparalleled. He went above and beyond to help get a medication approved that is truly life saving. I cannot thank him enough from the bottom of my heart... Such an awesome caring person. From the moment I met him I knew that he truly cared. After seeing his energy and determination to get this medication approved I only wish a million stars was an option on this review. I will give him a million heartfelt thanks though. Truly amazing. I'm so fortunate that he came into my life. A million thanks and more. You're awesome... Tears roll down my cheeks as I write this. I'm so touched and speechless....Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walgreens Is WONDERFUL!!! They get me my Migraine Medication Before I Need It!! The Staff Is TRULY Kind as well as Knowledgeable!!! Thank You Walgreens!!!!

The prescription I needed was suddenly $120 more per the pharmacist although I had been to this pharmacy multiple times, received the same medication for much less and nothing had changed with my insurance. She insisted that no matter how she ran it in the system, the price for the brand and generic were the same and nothing could really be done to help. I’m lucky I’m in the healthcare field and knew about goodrx, and I ended up getting the prescription for over $100 less. All pharmacists and pharmacies are very familiar with goodrx and even though they knew I was struggling to afford the medication, they did not offer it as an option to help.

This pharmacy staff has either no idea how to manage their own system or are too lazy to do their job. I had to contact the doctors office to resend a prior authorization. I had to contact the insurance company so they could explain to the pharmacist how to bill. They are useless and inconvenient . Went to CVS and they had it done in a day
