I see that this location has a lot of negative reviews, but I spent my whole day today getting the run around from Walgreens about a prescription I badly needed, and THIS was the one place where the pharmacy staff was kind and understanding. They're clearly busy, but they still went out of their way to fix my problem and keep me updated. I started out at the Grand Ave location in Saint Paul where the staff was rude and dismissive. I ended up transferring the prescription to E Lake and everyone there treated me so well. All props to the pharmacy staff, you're lovely people.

Not enough staff at this pharmacy. Sat in the drive thru over 45 minutes and there was only two cars ahead of me. They seem to only care about serving the customers in the store and not the drive thru. They don’t know how to coordinate serving both counter & drive thru. Many times I get an email stating my prescription is ready for pick up, I get there and they say it will be ready “tomorrow”. I’m fed up! I’m taking my business elsewhere.

I'm not one to normally write negative reviews for anywhere but please think twice before filling a regular prescription at this pharmacy. I don't blame the pharmacists as they are always polite when interacting with me, but they are constantly understaffed and randomly closed. Management needs to hire more pharmacists for this location. The pharmacy is randomly closed for a week at a time whenever any of their skeleton crew of pharmacists takes time off. You'll wait on hold forever trying to get through only to learn that the pharmacy is randomly closed because they were understaffed. I think I'm going to fill at another pharmacy even though this is the closest one to me.

Hurry up and close so a real pharmacy can open in this location. Absolutely a joke of a facility. Whole pharmacy needs to haul off in the middle of the day for “lunch”? Kinda crazy that no other business operates that way but sure, close down the life saving medicine factory randomly instead of figuring out how to staff.

Went to Walgreens today for some simple items, and was helped by John who is busting his butt to get everything done and make our experience wonderful. Highly recommend him and hopefully his work knows his value. Thanks John!
