Chris and Craig from the pharmacy were absolutely great!! I called in at 5:30 really needing my son's medication for his asthma, they filled it right away! I was able to get the medication to my son asap with great relief! They were so kind and helpful! My son and I greatly appreciate them for helping us.

The line for pharmacy is ridiculous. The wait is typically an hour in the drive thru. (I pick up meds at least once a month) You need to hire more staff and/or staff who are more high performing. Today the young man working the drive-thru had no sense of urgency whatsoever. Do they realize the line of cars is 10 cars deep? After taking sometime to look up my meds in the computer and then telling me my meds were ready it took him another 5+ minutes to locate them walking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Ultimately I finally see him take a bin off the shelf and easily find them. Also, what happened to the second check out in the drive thru?? I understand this is a very busy pharmacy and I appreciate you are open 24 hours but management needs to work on efficiency and better customer service.

Walgreens corporate PLEASE BUY NEW COMPUTERS. Its 2026 computers should be lightning fast. The computer froze each time I approached the counter. When I initially asked them to fill my prescription and told them I would be waiting for it, the computer froze and so the prescription was not marked as waiting. I just spent two hours waiting for a prescription that pharmacist had no idea I was waiting for. I checked back multiple times and was told 15 more minutes, 15 more minutes, 15 more minutes. I had to go over the cashier's head and speak directly to the pharmacist in order to have my prescription filled. Cashiers need to be physically going back to the pharmacist and checking on prescriptions when a customer comes to ask. No one is trained properly in the equipment is 15 years out of date. You're making millions of dollars off of our suffering. The least you could do is provide adequate training and modern equipment to allow the process to run smoothly. This is absolutely unacceptable. You're creating a long wait for no reason. People cannot be standing around for hours waiting for life-saving medication that should take 5 minutes to fill.

I was hospitalized for a week and a half, and once I was released from the hospital, my prescriptions were sent to this pharmacy - Edina. When I went to pick up my prescription, they kept telling me my insurance have not approved it. My Hospital day was more than $15,000 and the insurance had no problem approving yet my ambulance was more than $3000 and my insurance had no problem approving yet. My prescription was around $40 and how is that possible that the insurance won’t approve it when I have active insurance. . I had to pay out of my pocket get the medication’s go home and rest till I recover. I went to the pharmacy requesting for a refund and have them rerun my prescription through the insurance and he did go through. They would not issue me a refund and I have to wait eight weeks before I get my check through the mail. How pathetic is that? The store manager was being and rude to me and was not willing to help me. The pharmacy manager is not any better either.

I can ditto & add to most of the critical reviews here. Even the other, relatively close-by, Walgreens pharmacies know how alarmingly bad the York Ave one is; they’ve told me. They—multiple. This time, although I was told Friday night by the pharmacist on the phone that my prescription would be ready, it was NOT ready when I arrived on Saturday—I’d have to wait until Monday. So I went without essential medication two and a half days. I’ve written to corporate with personal details re earlier issues and received no response, so clearly no one has any concern or pride, and the arrogant run wild.
