I returned for a passport photo retake due to dissatisfaction with my original photo. Before I could finish a single sentence, employee Edith was already combative — short, dismissive, and visibly annoyed that I existed. She cut me off and immediately cited a “30-day policy” as grounds for refusal. This policy does not exist anywhere on Walgreens’ website. I verified it word for word. The only 30-day reference on Walgreens’ entire site refers to when the digital download link expires after your original order. It has absolutely nothing to do with returning for a retake. Edith fabricated a policy on the spot to avoid doing her job. When I pushed back, she did the retake anyway. She proved her own lie within minutes of telling it. The retake itself was a spectacle. Edith huffed and puffed through the entire process — visibly irritated, rushing through the photo selection, treating a paying customer like a burden she couldn’t wait to get rid of. On top of that, other customers in line were rushing and adding pressure to an already hostile interaction. That is a staffing and management failure, not mine. I am a paying customer. The perpetually understaffed, disorganized, slow-moving chaos of this location is not my problem to absorb. I did not create the line. This store did. She then failed to provide the digital copy — included free with every single $16.99 Walgreens passport photo purchase per their own published policy. The correct procedure for a retake is to process it as a new order, generating a new code that automatically triggers the digital copy via email. Edith didn’t do that. She processed it informally, outside the system, because she either didn’t know the correct procedure or couldn’t be bothered. No code. No digital copy. Incomplete order. And after all of that — the attitude, the fabricated policy, the hostility, the incomplete order — the photo itself doesn’t even meet U.S. State Department requirements. Insufficient space above the head is a basic technical standard that any trained passport photo associate should know on day one. This isn’t advanced photography. This is a fixed backdrop and one subject. Edith still couldn’t get it right. A rejected passport application because of her inability to properly frame a shot on what appears to be a 2003 digital camera is not a risk any paying customer should have to take. Every single thing that could go wrong did — because of Edith. Fabricated policy. Proven liar. Hostile from start to finish. Huffed through the session. Failed to complete the order. Took a non-compliant photo. All at a store so understaffed and poorly managed that the dysfunction has clearly become the standard. $16.99 for an incomplete order, no digital copy, a technically non-compliant photo, and the full experience of being treated like the problem by the person who caused every single one.

Customer service was so bad it was honestly a joke. I went in to buy something and accidentally clicked on a donation option that I did not mean to select. I immediately told the cashier, but she completely disregarded me and told me to pay first so she could “fix it.” I said okay, paid, and then brought it up again, only for her to suddenly act surprised. Then the manager/supervisor or other coworkers came over and said the donation could not be refunded. Right in front of me, the cashier claimed that I never told her when it happened , even though I absolutely did. The customer service and professionalism were both 0/10. I was respectful the entire time and was not acting like a “Karen” at all, yet they still treated me dismissively and disrespectfully, seemingly just because I am young.

The service at this Walgreens is horrible. The pharmacy operates extremely poorly; the wait times for your medication to become available are interminable, and the customer service is completely disrespectful. You have to call constantly just to check the status of your medication—even calling your insurance provider to confirm whether or not your prescription has been approved—when that should be their job. I appeal to the authorities overseeing this pharmacy, located at 3595 Coral Way in Miami, to find a solution. We are dealing with medications for sick people, not non-essential items. Thank you.

This pharmacy has been extremely frustrating to deal with. My primary care doctor has sent my prescription here three separate times, and they still claim they haven’t received it. On top of that, when I call, I’m left on hold for long periods—over 10 minutes—and repeatedly told to keep waiting. Very poor communication and service. I would not recommend coming here.

The staff is very professional and helpful. Is my pharmacy a lot of time. And always if I need something they answer the questions. Ms. Pino is checking any detail in customer service too.
