I just experienced some of the most disrespectful customer service at Walgreens on Alton Road in Miami Beach. The employee, Lizabeth, completely ignored me the entire time I was at the register. She did not greet me, make eye contact, speak, or acknowledge me as a customer in any way. Every customer deserves basic respect and professionalism when entering a business, and this experience felt extremely dismissive and discriminatory. Customer service should never make someone feel invisible or unwelcome. I believe this situation needs to be addressed seriously by corporate management.

This Walgreens has been our go-to pharmacy for the past 12 years without any issues from any department. However, we have to give it one star because of the horrible pharmacy department. They constantly mess up my prescriptions! Please stay away from this pharmacy. If you ever need help, ask for someone else to assist you. Also, keep a report on Alexis whenever you pick up your meds. Unfortunately, we moved out of the country for a great decade. Please don’t get me wrong, the experience was truly amazing and convenient. I was able to get my meds through a phone call and receive them for free delivery!

So if you ask for sexual safety information like condoms you won't get much guidance apart from maybe an employee saying "I don't know much about this" I get stigmas and shame around sexual health and safety and especially condoms are persistent and even strategic within communities and culture to keep women without agency when it comes to their bodies but maybe these employees should work at a supermarket or a restaurant and not a pharmacy. This is what massive labor costs cuts look like but it looks especially bad in healthcare/pharmacy.

“Employees” who stand in the middle of an aisle texting and blocking the aisle. Oblivious to customers that would like to browse the aisle. 🤖 Robotic, non-friendly employees who lack basic customer service skills.

I came to Walgreens two days in a row just to buy sunscreen, and both times I was helped directly by Silviana. She was so kind and thoughtful .I was truly impressed by her service. She made everything easy and comfortable for me. There was also a light-skinned Spanish woman working the evening shift around 7:00 PM. I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly sweet and kept calling me “Sweetie.” I really liked her too! She even helped me open the restroom door, even though it was out of service . such a kind gesture. I had a genuinely great experience at Walgreens, and it made me love Walgreens even more. Please let both of these ladies know they made a difference!! 🥰
