As someone who works in healthcare, I really empathized with the pharmacy staff after Rite Aid closed down and their volume practically doubled overnight. Since switching to Walgreens though, I’ve received nothing but kindness and accuracy from the staff. I appreciate all they do for our community.

SUITABLE LITTLE WALGREENS w/ limited stock. The Walgreens on Coronado Island has a good amount of over-the-counter items but not near as much as a regular sized Walgreens given the size of the store. The store seems a little messy and needs a revamp in parts of it.. It’s weird because some parts of the store (especially the outside) seem very modern and others don’t. I was thankfully able to find what I needed and the staff were pleasant. There’s a grab-n-go lunch area, pharmacy and teeny Photo Booth with limited access. I think this Walgreens is great for a quick visit but I’d drive to the mainland for anything extra. The charming size of the store makes its an enjoyable stop, I really liked visiting!

This Walgreens is so disorganized and the staff do t really know what they are doing and line is down the hall. The patience level of the people here is actually incredible though. They need way for help for the volume they have. 15 people in line right now.

Pharmacy service needs to improve. After you’re in line for 15 minutes to pickup a refill .(and after 2days of there promised pick up date when you put in the refill) they I’ll tell you to wait 30 more minutes to be ready…. Every month I have to deal with these kind a problem….

There is very limited selection of products. Vons has much more. Anytime I get a prescription done, the estimate is way off. They said an hour, I leave, and then get a text five minutes later that it’s ready. They tell me 25 minutes and almost two hours later it’s finally ready. They are so slow too. And then the line… and if you have to come back later. Twice the wait… and it’s a long wait.
