APRIL UPDATE: Have to recognize one more terrific team member: Alexis ( store Mgr). I love outside the US and visit SD every five months. Recently Alexis was so terrific with really specialized service calling my insurance company to authorize a Vacation Refill for an extra 90 day supply of a prescription. All was done via phone and I was blown away when she called me back in less than 60 minutes to say my refill was authorized and filled ready for pickup!! Terrific store I've made my official pharmacy with my medical Care provider. Great help by JOSH just now maxing- out my CVS coupon offers. Love the discount promos-- major reason it's my preferred pharmacy for decades ✔️

CVS Owner: Take some pride in your store. It’s literally brand new. And it’s literally a homeless shelter with the entire carpet stained and smelling like pee. Not to mention the homeless hanging around outside and the absurd parking app that’s $10 for 1 hour. Yes I know we can park for free but you need to have a conversation with this dude because he’s pulling this nonsense all over town. In Every city, the pay to park app is like $1.20 for 1 hour. Tell him to stop his nonsense and please clean up your store and completely remodel it. Get rid of the homeless. You’re in a nice neighborhood. Please act like it.

It’s a homeless encampment. At least 20-30 homeless people outside, inside, and near the parking areas. The security person chats with the homeless folks and hangs out with them. I didn’t feel safe parking in the parking lot as you have to walk through a big group of them just to get to the door. I wont shop or get scripts here again. CVS support: No I’m not going to contact you. Call the owner of this CVS and handle it.

I use this store as my pharmacy and I am surprisingly a very happy customer. I say surprisingly because this big store pharmacies mixed with my health insurance company and my doctor's office is just typically more frustrating quagmire than smooth sailing. About a 1-2 years ago a pharmacy manager named Alexis took over. My typical quagmire experience instantly changed to smooth sailing over night and has consistently stayed that way ever since. Where I seemed to have a problem literally 50% of the time I now hit a bump 5-10% of the time and Alexis and her team quickly remedies it. Not sure if I've ever been a fan of a pharmacy or written one a five star review but here I am writing one. And for CVS of all places! Kudos to Alexis & Co down at 1850 5th. Thanks for making it an easy and dare I say pleasant experience to do business with CVS.

If the store smelled a lil better, I would have given it a 5 star. Workers were friendly and helpful. Homeless around, but most stores have them.
