I’m from the East Coast and was in Phoenix on business. I stopped at this CVS to pick up a prescription for a family member and was genuinely shocked by how unprofessional this location is—specifically the pharmacy. The pharmacist was extremely rude from the moment I approached the counter and aggressively insisted that everything had to be handled digitally, with zero effort to explain or help. While I was standing there, I also witnessed her yelling at another customer over the phone about their prescription. Not firm. Not stressed. Yelling. Completely inappropriate behavior for someone in healthcare. After experiencing this firsthand, I read through other reviews and it’s clear this is a pattern—not a bad day. Multiple customers describe being spoken to in the same hostile, dismissive way. If you dread interacting with staff who treat you like an inconvenience, this is the place. To make matters worse, the prices for over-the-counter items are absurd—easily 2–3x higher than other CVS locations. Same chain, same products, wildly inflated prices. This location desperately needs management intervention. Between the aggressive pharmacy staff and price gouging, there is absolutely no reason to come here unless you have no other option.

The staff at pharmacy needs to be observed. I always have issues getting ahold of anyone in pharmacy, but would deal with it, even with the delayed medication fills. This time I was having issues again with the medication being filled and decided to transfer the meds to another cvs closer to my house. The app then informed me that I needed to see a pharmacist since they wouldnt be filled and that the meds were still under this location. I went to this place and was rudely “greeted” with a “what do you need?” I informed I wanted to know thale status of a prescription and before I could explain further the pharmacist cut me off saying, “ if you didn’t get a text then it’s not ready”. I then explained that I was aware of that but that the app seemed to be glitching and wanted to ensure it was being processed correctly and that they didn’t need anything from me. The pharmacist then says” then if you transferred it then contact THAT CVS” I then let them know that I can never speak with anyone and I was cut off again with her saying, “ that is by design, CVS made it that way to we can focus on pushing out product and not waste our time dealing with phones. Everyone always wants to call. Just check the app, you’ll get a text when its ready” This employee is seen on various occasions being rude and yelling to others inquiring about their prescriptions. I understand there are rude customers at times, but even when they are not, she is rude. She should not be allowed to speak that way to customers. The male employee there is nice, though.

I had a wonderful experience at this pharmacy. Terry was such a friendly and helpful face. She made sure to take her time to ensure everything was correct and I was heard! Best CVS in the valley!

Great workers! Roberto (I believe) and the man working the front were both very patient and extremely helpful. I was making a pricy purchase so I wanted to make sure I chose the correct water pik. Then in the front it took a bit but we figured out how to apply the coupon. Great Deals at CVS!!

Stay away from this CVS. I was waiting an hour for a prescription, where they have no chairs (they said they took them out for the pandemic…the one from six years ago). Then, when it was time to pick up my prescription, I waited ‘in line’ for twenty minutes while the pharmacist spoke to her friend the entire time despite my being the only customer waiting.
