Employees would rather hide than help. Empty store, cashier wondering around, just chatting with others. Employee that tried to get away, showed where the item could be, if they had it, did not help find it. Empty store, no time for customer.After paying at the pharmacy, I picked up a bottle of drink , and took 4-5 minutes to complete that single transaction upfront. The cashier was not around, and the previous employee tried to cash me out. Phone call came in, in the middle of the transaction, and she stopped processing the order. By that time the cashier decided to show up, but would not take over the register or the phone call. There was an error on the machine, and asked employee if she could do something. The cashier, while just standing there, in a mean tone told me it was not the employees fault, but my card was bad. I informed her that I paid with the same card 5 minutes ago, and the screen had an error loading system warning. When they cleared the screen, card magically went through. Why is she paid for chatting, not stocking , cleaning, organizing, wondering around and putting customers in place? CVS and Walgreens on the same corner. CVS just earns 100% of my business from now on. Pharmacy side was good, 5 star on that side. The review relates purely to the store experience, and the checkout experience.

Zero compassion from the pharmacist. She looked thrilled to be at work. Terrible customer service, will make it a point to never come to this Walgreens location again.

This particular Walgreens Pharmacy has let me down more than once, and that’s enough for me. A while back, I was traveling internationally and needed a prescription before I left. The medication required refrigeration before use, but no one told me that when I picked it up. There was nothing clearly marked on the packaging either. By the time I realized, it was too late—the medication was no longer usable. When I contacted the pharmacy, they took no ownership and just said there was nothing they could do. I had to repurchase the medication myself, and it wasn’t cheap. That whole situation could have been avoided with a simple heads-up. More recently, I was prescribed eye drops for pink eye—pretty basic stuff. After getting a notification that the prescription was “processing,” I waited over an hour and then called to check on it. The person on the phone said they’d add me to their system so I’d get a text when it was ready. Two hours went by—nothing. I called again and found out it had been filled, but no one told me. No text, no update, just me sitting there in pain with no idea what was going on. And when I finally showed up to pick up the prescription, the experience somehow got worse. I stood at the counter while the staff casually chatted amongst themselves like I wasn’t even there. No greeting, no sense of urgency, not even basic acknowledgment. It felt like I was interrupting their conversation just by existing. It was unprofessional and frustrating—especially after waiting so long to get some relief. Both times, this location has shown a serious lack of communication, care, and professionalism. It’s exhausting to deal with a pharmacy that leaves you in the dark and acts like you’re a bother when you finally show up. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won’t be going back to this Walgreens.

Don’t go here for passport photos. I paid $18 to have mine taken here and the lady was very rude, and when I got to the car and looked at the photo I almost laughed it was done so poorly. When I received the digital photo and tried to submit for my passport, it was denied due to photo quality… I took a picture with my phone and was able to use that instead. Save yourself the hassle and the $18

Why is this location even still open? No, seriously. The ppl who work in the pharmacy are the slowest people known to mankind. They sit there and ignore you like you aren’t standing there, get annoyed when you ask a question, and chances are they are even competent enough to answer it it’s always “oh I don’t know”. The cashiers in the front? Well let’s just say never go here if you have anything to do. I’m convinced this place only hires the slowest, oldest people that couldn’t find a job anywhere else. I’m not even exaggerating. I’ve once waited over 20 mins to purchase one item when it was only one person ahead of me. Granted, I will say the cashiers up front are sweet, but they will just sit and talk and move in slow motion like no one else has things to do. Perhaps consider self checkout? Because don’t let the customer in front of you have a coupon or a question, you just added another 10 mins to ya wait time.
