I love this store! The cashiers are always friendly and knowledgeable, especially Monica S.. They are also very helpful if needed! The store is clean, even the bathroom! I cant recall not being able to find any item that I've looked for in the past. On occasion, the pharmacy can get a little backed up, but what pharmacy never is? They are efficient though.

This is a nice store, clean and well-kept. I stopped in around 7 PM and it was mostly quiet. Staff is friendly. Well-stocked in all departments. I did not try the pharmacy so I can’t speak to that aspect. This isn’t a 24 hour location, for that I have to drive another 10 minutes down the road. Across the street is a CVS which I also frequent often but would say this Walgreens is cleaner and more inviting than the CVS.

12/25/25 @9:00am I had forgotten a few items that I needed for our Christmas meal. I was happy to see that Walgreens was open so I could go pick up these items. The employees there were so welcoming, upbeat and helpful. They really helped make my Christmas morning even more special. Thank you so much!

This is the good Walgreens on New Bern. They are responsive, fast, and polite. They also went above and beyond to help a few of the older locals that I noticed - I thought that was really nice and displayed that the employees and leadership here have great character.

This location is my regular goto place for sure for many years. Great staff, great pharmacy department. If it’s busy, we all just have to be patient.🫶🏾
