Lewis Tromp 2 months agoI’m a delivery shopper more than a self shopper. Your paper bags for alcohol are weaker than newspaper, they break every time I’m handing deliveries to customers. If you can spend $0.01 more per bag to have better quality, please do. Would be cool if us delivery bikers didn’t have to leave our delivery bags unattended in the store too, not like we chose to be there. Bigger stores with fewer employees allow delivery bags without question, and less of their inventory is in locked boxes. Smiths and dollar general being the most surprising ones. Shopping the stores that allow bags is more pleasant than shopping Walgreens, unfortunately. Not just the back packs thing. Having to wait 5-10 minutes for every locked up item literally takes money out the pockets of gig work drivers. Back to backpacks, my backpack would be more visible to store employees and security if I was carrying it with me. The “leave your bag” spot is not well monitored by anyone, and is exposed to every person walking in and out of the store. My whole time in Walgreens I’m distracted worried someone will steal my bag. DoorDash does allow dashers to block deliveries from specific stores now. Don’t make me block you.
Cory Dillman 5 months agoIt's wild that the reviews really mean and do nothing, but perhaps that's why Walgreens is shutting stores nationwide. It's only a matter of time before this one is gone too. Early good riddance. It's the nearest store to my house, so I am there often. The only person on the staff to not make me feel stupid, poor, and unwelcome is the security lady. And I'm not smelly or drunk or high or awful. Just a regular, freshly showered customer they see every day. Do better, or don't. Y'all going out of business either way. Also, Makeup freckles/beauty spots looks like a pox. Bet y'all have a creme for it
Amber McCollum a month agoI love coming to this Walgreens for my prescriptions! This store is so much closer to my house! The staff in the pharmacy is always smiling and very nice! I don't usually shop in Walgreens because their prices are so expensive but the staff in the whole store is always kind and friendly and willing to help you find what your looking for!
J L 6 months agoI have not been able to get my flu shot on 1/2/26 as their was a problem with my insurance. I called insurance an was instructed to have pharmacy call them to remove a code that was holding things up. I waited for almost two hours. A tech told me He Called and my vaccine could not be approved. I got a hold of insurance later and they had a record of the refusal with notes but no one from the pharmacy called them to remove the code that was holding things up. Long message here. The Tech LIED. He never called. That is what is upsetting.
Kayla Runyan 2 months agoMy boyfriend and I had gone to Walgreens after an event at UNM to get a few buzz balls. We hadn’t had anything to drink yet, which is why we went to Walgreens in the first place. Although we had valid ID’s and were not acting drunk in any way shape or form, the lady running the liquor counter (dirty blonde hair 4/11 9:30 PM) was super rude. She said she wouldn’t serve us because of our wrist bands and said that we were probably already drunk. I get that if that was the policy, she couldn’t serve us, but at least be a little more polite about it. There’s no need to be so rude about something so small, and there was no need to accuse us of being drunk. We just ended up going to a Walgreens five minutes away and getting a giant buzz-ball there. But we won’t be returning to this Walgreens for anything ever again, even if it’s the closest one to us, because I feel like the staff are consistently rude.
