This minute clinic is always up to weird stuff and I don’t know why I keep returning. I booked an appointment online for the next day. I booked something under women’s services. They never reached out to me to cancel or that they couldn’t perform those things. Instead, I showed up and waited a long time and then when I got inside the clinic office they told me they can’t do the tests or anything referring to the issue I had booked for and told me to leave or go somewhere else. I asked why they didn’t call me beforehand or why they even allow to book for services they can’t perform. I understand CVS is a giant major corporation but I feel like when you book the minute clinic you are booking for your very specific minute clinic. I don’t know. Just wish there was a better system is all. A call or text or email to cancel would be nice before rearranging work and your whole day for an appointment just to go home and receive no care. I would’ve just called my real doctor and waited 2 months

The pharmacy lines are always INSANE, but no problem, I wait. The front of the store was a literal crime scene a few months back, so I no longer feel comfortable going inside to wait. Today, the pharmacy team member who answered my call, told me that due to a multiple day, all hour outage at the pharmacy, that my doctor needed to call in my prescription directly to them because the refill the doctor authorized wasn’t valid since it occurred during the outage. Completely worthless. CVS should look into what a disaster recovery and business continuity plan is, rather than tell patients the medicine that keeps their cancer at bay can’t be filled because their internet was down. For safety, I would recommend not relying on this circus for any medically necessary medication.

Attempted to get my rx here in drive through and when the worker (her name is Destiny)couldn't help and kept giving me inaccurate information. When i explained that her information of my medication pending contradicted my Dr sending it over today and making it avaliable for pick up me she hung up and walked away. All she had to do was ask for help and give me the correct info of my insurance didn't cover it until next week but i can still pay full today. She was Hostile and dismissive which is scary when dealing with someone trying to get medication from.

3/27/2026: This is honestly one of the best CVS locations in the entire KCMO Metro area and it's open 24 hours a day... Their selection is normally always fully stocked and the employees are usually very friendly and willing to help me anytime I've been in, no matter what I've been needing. I don't make it to this location as much as I used to, but that's about to change bcuz I forgot how amazing it truly is

I came into this store to buy a umbrella bc it was about to storm bad outside, mind you I had my locked bag strapped to the front of my chest and nothing was said to me about it be with me on my person until I got ready to pay for my umbrella. The store clerk asked if I would leave my bag at the front next time and I said that's fine, but next time say something about it when I first walk in not wait until I'm about ready to go. He then asked if I was gonna pay for the product or put it in my bag!. I'm no thief and I make more money than he makes in a month in 2 weeks. Got stereotyped because I have tattoos and I'm skinny and had a bag strapped to my chest. That store is trash.
