I had a very frustrating experience at this Walgreens pharmacy. The clerk refused to enter my insurance information and instead tried to charge me the full cash price without properly processing my coverage (TRICARE). This felt unprofessional and dismissive. Entering insurance is a basic part of pharmacy service, and refusing to do so creates unnecessary financial burden and stress for customers. I rely on my insurance for prescriptions, and I expect staff to follow standard procedures instead of taking shortcuts or making assumptions. If there was an issue, it should have been clearly explained—not ignored. This experience left me feeling like my concerns didn’t matter. I hope management addresses this and ensures staff are properly trained to handle insurance processing correctly.

After numerous problems with CVS pharmacy, I had them send my new prescriptions to Walgreens. I received a message that said it was ready. At the pickup window, the tech gave me the 2 bags and they were priced over $200 each. I offered the good Rx coupon, but she said they don’t accept it and called the pharmacist to speak to me. I showed her my letters and she explained some things. At the end I wasn’t going to pay $450 for 2 meds so I left. Sitting in my car I checked the Walgreens app and there were several coupons making the price affordable. So I had to walk all the back in and showed it to the tech. I asked her why she didn’t informed me about these and her reply was she forgot. Did the pharmacist forget too? Despite the staff’s disinterest , the store is very clean and organized, there was no line. It’s a bit far to drive when feeling sick but beats standing in that long line at CVS.

Pharmacist helped me, when I need help with consultation at 3:00am est, I live in Florida. Patients shouldn't feel afraid calling out of state, if they are concerned. Thank you to the Pharmacist who helped me this morning (my time).

Outstanding pharmacy technicians that can really help you with your prescription insurance issues. Adequate on site parking and a well stocked store.
