This is a great location that has a lot of useful and necessary items. I usually go here just for filling prescriptions and usually the prescriptions are ready quickly or at least when they say they’ll be ready. everybody who works there is pretty nice and professional. They even carry a brand of toilet paper that is hard to find elsewhere. I can find it at my local grocery store, but it cost almost 3 times as much so when I’m stopping by here, I’ll grab some of that toilet paper but this location is definitely saved me in a pinch because when I needed a card for a gift they’re in a great location. That’s easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking.

BEWARE AND AVOID THE PHARMACY! All of the Walgreens have declined in customer service and pharmacy services but this particular store, located at Gandy & Westshore Boulevard should put themselves out of misery and just close the doors permanently. They are dysfunctional, rude, judgmental, disrespectful and untrained in policy and procedures. The pharmacy is operating on reduced irregular hours and prescriptions that should be filled same day or next day are taking a week to fill - because of untrained staff - not supply. Tried moving scripts to another store on Gandy and they have the same issues. Although, their store is not as dirty and gross. Is it too much to ask that the business provide you with the services that they are supposed to offer? This store is in a high income, densely populated neighborhood. You’d think that they would want to capitalize on that but they don’t. It’s a waste of prime commercial real estate. Save yourself the time and frustration by avoiding the pharmacy at all costs.

No gripes at all about this store, including the pharmacy. Good selection of greeting cards and Tampa history paperbacks with photos. Courteous and helpful employees.

I just had the best experience at this Walgreens, thanks to Elda. She was so sweet! pleasant, great communication, and very helpful! I love her energy and she's a great asset to this Walgreens! And she deserves a Christmas Bonus for sure!

Long Braids Lady’s Pharmacist has a poor customer service, terrible attitude, I was trying to let her know the change on my Dad’s order and she did not understand me, so she called her coworker saying “I’m Done” in front of me! Very nasty attitude at this time 10am! Girl you better find another job where you don’t have to be in contact with customers at all.
