Yeah this is your standard big city Walgreens. It sucks but it's the way of the world. Everything is locked up, they're understaffed, it's dirty, service takes forever... But they're convenient enough and have what you need when other places are closed. It's a necessary evil. I wish we could have nice things but for high volume drugstores like this it's just not the case.

Pharmacist was great - had to call around to a couple places to find in stock meds and he went above and beyond the others to get me a list of other places it was available for same day pickup, no long wait to speak with a pharmacist either. Will choose them in the future, so much easier than my current one

SECURITY ACCUSED ME OF STEALING during rush hour. Security was in his late 50s. about 5’5. Black. He accused me of stealing while I was just buying water. He openly shouted saying that he saw me put something in my bag (probably my phone). I was ready to call the police but walked away instead. Literally do not go here, security can’t even do his job properly

For a San Francisco Walgreens, this place isn’t too bad, large sections including the prepared food area. Most things are not locked behind shields so I can do self service. Keep up the good work of keeping out the homeless and drugged out people.

I am absolutely livid after my most recent interaction with the incredibly incompetent and disrespectful manager (pictured) at my local Walgreen’s. I came in to do a simple cash deposit- I told the pictured woman that it was for $30 and gave her the barcode to scan (having done this successful DOZENS OF TIMES). Imagine my surprise when she asks for an ID and REFUSES to do the transaction for me! I asked to confirm; even for $30? She was adamant and I didn’t have the patience or time to argue with her. After running all the way back home to grab my ID, I get back into line to watch her scurrying away for the day. Something told me she knew that what she did was wrong which would explain the sheepish, pathetic look on her face. The employee who did end up helping me adamantly refused to give me the pictured woman’s name, only that she was indeed her boss. If anyone else has documented instances of this woman’s prejudice something tells me this isn’t pure incompetence.
