I’m going to switch pharmacies after years of dealing with this. I dread having to get my prescriptions refilled here, but during the Adderall shortages they had a more reliable supply than other places so I kept going here. I already moved most of my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy, but since they don’t fill Adderall, I still need to use a local pharmacy like Walgreens or CVS for that medication. Unfortunately, every time I need my meds it is like pulling teeth. On a few occasions, the delays meant I have to go without meds for a few days. My most recent experience: they never notified me that they received my prescription. When I first went in, I was told I didn’t have any prescriptions on file. Then when I called a few days later, I was told they did have one on file, but that it was too old to fill and I needed to contact my doctor. I reached out to my doctor, and they told me they had sent a recent prescription already. So it turned into a ridiculous amount of back-and-forth between the pharmacy and my doctor just to figure out what was going on. On top of that, calling this pharmacy is a nightmare. More than half the time I call, I end up on hold forever and then get disconnected. I also can’t refill this prescription through the app or the automated phone system - I was told I have to call and speak to someone at the pharmacy every single time, and that there’s no way around it. The in-store experience isn’t much better. Even with only a few people ahead of me, the line takes forever because almost everyone seems to be having prescription issues that take a long time to resolve at the counter. Also their lunch hours when you call are wrong so one time I went in they told me I have to come back in 30 mins because the pharmacy is still closed for lunch. Just update the hours in the phone IVR system so people know when to come in. I’ve wasted so much time at this Walgreens, and I just can’t anymore. When I finally get to the counter, they’re always nice so it’s unfortunate that the rest of the process is horrible. I think they’re severely short staffed or just ignore phone calls to discourage people from calling in. Overall, this has been an exhausting experience for something that should be routine. They need better communication, more reliable phone support, and an easier refill process.

Literally could not be a worse pharmacy setup. They have no tracking system, provide 0 information on the phone, tell you over the phone & in person things will be 'ready' at some time only to find they've just completely forgotten or canceled the orders with no feedback. when you call they'll hang up on you if you ask how you can try to get more clarity into the process for the next loop so we can simplify things.

Best pharmacy in the neighborhood. Most everything is locked up, but staff is readily available to help.

I thought all the bad reviews were a bit over the top. No, they’re accurate. I called in a refill the day prior and waited at least 15 mins in line to pick it up . . . only to be told it’s not ready yet. I didn’t want to give Bezos more business, but I’m switching to Amazon pharmacy.
