EVERYTHING is locked up. It’s a terrible shopping experience over all. I came in to grab some essentials and tampons and needed someone to open at least 4 different shelves in several aisles. Staff was helpful and nice and security told me no photos or videos were allowed, but here we are. Prices are higher in store than on the site for curbside pick up. Idk if this is something they can adjust at the register but I noticed it after I got home. Tampons were 18.99 in store and 15.99 on curbside pick up for the SAME store plus an online coupon for another 1.50 off. Other items in my bag were about 10% cheaper curb side vs instore. These same tampons are $12 at target downtown. Not expecting them to compete with target prices but a 50% price increase plus needing to be chaperoned with an employee with keys is ridiculous. It should cost me MORE money to grab things in store.

Walgreens.com often lists prices for items that are lower than posted in my local store. I go in expecting to pay so much then find out there is a greater price on the shelf. This isn’t right! Class action in the making?

This is my favorite walgreens it feels like a little home shop. The workers are phenomenal. They really care about the customers and our needs. Wonderful place of business.

Despite occasional harassment by street people and rampant theft, the staff always remained professional and customer- friendly. I always take advantage of sales, promotions and discounts, which always includes products I need and want. I go to my Walgreens often enough that the staff know what I frequently buy, and as soon as I enter the store, they inform me what favorites are on sale, before I even ask. That is the kind of service I have rarely received at CVS or Target and keeps me loyal to my local Walgreens.

I have to say that the Walgreens at 1524 Polk St has the best staff I have ever encountered. They are hard workers, efficient, and help me every time I come in. I live two miles away and I don't go to any other Walgreens unless I have to. I have been loyal to this store location for close to 20 years. (And it's not easy when you live in SF, CA, and don't have a car. ) Don't ever close this Walgreens. Janet, Grace, Annie, Stephen, Andrew, Joanne and the other cashier who says "Hows it going dude" are all assets to their store. (I'll update the cashier's name later.)
