Helen Friedland 4 months agoI really want to like this pharmacy because it's right next to my house and I've been coming here for more than 10 years. But I am finally fed up with it and I have to write this review. EVERYTIME I come to the pharmacy, there's some sort of an issue with the refill. Somehow the prescription and medical insurance are just not enough to get a medication. They always need one more form or just stare at the computer for minutes on end not understanding what's going on. I don't want to sound mean, but if your job is a pharmacist, your job is to make sure people get their prescriptions. This rarely happens at this pharmacy on the first try. Usually, there's some issue that they need you to resolve first (or your doctor to resolve). They rarely try to actually help -- they just tell you why they are unable to fill a prescription and just send you away. Ok, maybe some prescriptions are harder to fill than others, but then why not call the patient and say there's an issue? At this point, I always plan to come to the pharmacy multiple times because I am sure there will be some sort of an issue with a refill. People get medications not because it's fun, but because they need it for their health. Pharmacists' job should be to make sure patients get their medication when they need it, given that there's a prescription in place.
D E 4 months agoWorst pharmacy in the last couple years the pharmacy has gone down hill. I live in the area for 38 years and my family has been going there since I was a kid . Not all of the pharmacist are bad but they have been a lot more rude and judgmental when picking up medication depending what it is.transferred my meds and it has been much better. Stay away if you can
Fidel G 8 months agoI had a great experience at Walgreens! The whole team was very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Special thanks to Jenifer — she went above and beyond to help me and make sure I found everything I needed. It’s always nice to see such good customer service. Thank you all for your kindness!
James Chase 11 months agoRude , insulting, inept pharmacist and employees, waiting over an hour when we had an appointment. Never, NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS DIRTY PHARMACIST ! This store is #1109. Stay away if don't like to be abused.
Tony King a year agoThe pharmacy associate was unprofessional and irresponsible. There was no concept of service recovery when they made mistakes. I called ahead to make sure my refills were ready. I went as advised, and after waiting in a long line, was told one of my medication refill cannot be filled until the next day. The associate made no apology or attempt to show any interest in the incovenience they had created for me. The next morning, I went to pick up the medication, and the same associate was at the counter. When it was my turn, she just turned and told me to wait. She disappeared behind the shelves. After about 5 minutes, she reappeared, her hand still stuffing food into her mouth. As though she had never met me before, with a full mouth, she asked for my name and date of birth. Then, she told me the medication is not ready yet, and I would have to wait 20 minutes. She moved to another cash register to help other customers, so that when my medication was finally prepared and delivered to the counter, she was too busy to help me. When she finally rang me up, she omitted to charge insurance. Luckily, I double checked the amount before I use my phone to pay. Again, she made no attempt to even apologize for her omission. Walgreens definitely overworked their staff, and never trained them for customer service. It is no wonder they are closing branch after branch. I know I am ready to move on to the many other alternatives, from on-line to other pharmacies.
