Im so disappointed with this pharmacy. They used to be good, but not anymore. Everytime I go to pick up prescriptions, there’s always one or 2 that are not ready, either it’s on back order, or it just didn’t get processed “It will be ready tomorrow “ is what they always tell me. I usually give them 2 or 3 days to get it ready, and when I go back, they tell me the same thing! This has happened several times. They always say the same thing: It wasn’t process, but I will do it now”. Today the same thing happened, they told me that one of the meds wasn’t worked on, but it should be ready later. That is so wrong because the same scenario keeps happening! And when I tried to pick up the other meds, she told me that my card wasn’t good, but I told her that it’s an updated card, but she refused and still said she couldn’t take the card, that I had to call the bank. I told her to check the exp date, and then she finally accepted the card! What is wrong with these workers? Do they just not care? Some of these prescriptions that they caused a delay in picking up were not even refills, they were new prescriptions, and very important to take asap, but I don’t think they even care about that ☹️

When I went to see my doctor in Long Beach, It was a scorching hot day & I was so thirsty. I arrived at the parking lot. There was a small parking lot and it was almost full. After I parked the car, I found the Walgreens store, which was next to my doctor's office. I went inside the store. The store was very clean & the shelves were well organized. I needed to use the washroom, and I looked around the store. Then, there was a young lady, Julie, who was an employee at the store. I asked her where was the washroom located. And, She took me to the restroom. She was a kind and caring person because She didn't have to take me to the restroom. The store had many items on sale. The price was reasonable & sale items were good prices. I bought some juice, an air freshener, cleaning wipes &yogurt at the store. I have been to another Walgreens store before, but this Walgreens store had great customer service. They had many items on sale. Also, they offer a drive-thru pharmacy service, so it is a convenient way to pick up medications. If people live in the Long Beach area, I would like to recommend this Walgreens store.

It appears Walgreens has implemented a new system, but instead of improving efficiency, it has significantly slowed down the prescription process. What used to be a straightforward experience now takes up to ten days, and when customers raise concerns, the response often shifts blame onto them rather than acknowledging the system’s shortcomings. This is unacceptable. Walgreens has let its customers down, and at this point, people may want to consider transferring their prescriptions to a pharmacy that values timely service and accountability.

It was very displeasing to know that most of the Long Beach Walgreen locations photo machines are not working. I called the location on Anaheim and Redondo, I called the location on Carson in Woodruff, as well as this one, and I was told by each and every manager that the photo machine that handles the photo books are not operating One store said it was the third week that their machine has been down. Please, customer service or corporate help these stores get back on track, because this is the day after New Year’s and a lot of memories would like to be made, but it’s sad that Wallgreens is not making it happen . 02/03 I came in to pick up some medication‘s from the pharmacy, and before leaving the store lost my debit card. There is a woman by the name of Alicia who left her station completely to help me search all over the store for my card. I am so thankful and grateful for her and her actions. This worker went as far as searching the bathrooms, and getting on the ground to search the lower shelves. I really want to leave this review with the hopes of her getting the recognition she deserves as an employee of Walgreens. I nearly almost cried during this matter , And Alicia even went as far as reminding me to hold my spiritual faith. The card was eventually found by Walgreens employees which was a big relief because we do not live in Southern Cal, (visiting from the Bay Area) and without this card would have been stuck in Long Beach, California, because my credit union does not operate down here. Again I would really like to shine light on Alicia in the pharmacy and truly thank her for her work, as well as the rest of the Walgreens employees
