Megan Pinkerton 4 months agoGetting ahold of literally anyone at the pharmacy is impossible. Today alone I waited on hold for 1.5hrs only for the call to get dropped. Called back, waited another 1hr 17min and decided to hang up and call back thinking I’d get a better spot on the queue. Waited on hold for a 3rd time and after 30 minutes I hung up. God forbid I need to get ahold of the pharmacy staff for a refill.
Juventina Contreras 9 months agoI’ll start my saying that I have mostly experienced pleasant service with this pharmacy, particularly with pharmacist Cadence - truly admirable customer service and a lovely human. That being said, my latest meditation pickup has truly been disheartening. I understand that pharmacists will probably experience unsavory interactions with incredibly rude customers, however that does not make it acceptable to treat other customers with unkind and salty-like behavior. When I called this morning to follow up medication that I was told would be ready Sunday evening, the pharmacist said it wasn’t ready - that it was on back stock. I began to try to explain my previous experience with her colleague and how I had been told my medication was at the pharmacy, but not ready yet and when I arrived at 7pm that night, the pharmacist with the curly black hair said, “sorry, we ran out” like she could give a flying bats bats, the pharmacist cut me off. So, I interrupted to please let me finish my thought, and I told her how my last experience went Sunday night - she flatly said “you’ll get a text when it’s easy, bye”, and that was that. Well, I guess good for you on being unkind in solidarity. You’ll never know how the way you treat people and how your words and the cadence with intent will affect them. Even though that interaction really sucked, it didn’t affect me in any notable way, except maybe in me gaining motivator to wrote this review, but can’t say the same for others. This interaction only gave me a moment of pause and that I hope that something good happens in their life to maybe make them a better human… a human like their colleague, Cadence and the non pharmacist employee with the blue hair. They rock. 💫
briana collins 4 months agoTruly, if I could leave zero stars, I would. I’m trying to find something to change the bandages on my wound from my surgery and while I will admit that I was in a bit of a bad mood already due to being in pain I assure you, it did not have any part of what transpired, there is an older Asian man working in the back. He didn’t ask me one time if I needed help looking for anything, even though it was painfully obvious that I did no he just ignored me until I finally made a choice of a couple of items and put it in my cart in which case he went and took them all out of my cart and said you can get those when you pass through the front and pay at the register…. OK! Pretty sure that’s how shopping works anyways right? Last time I checked, that’s how you’re supposed to go about it. It just really really insulted me that this dude could not be bothered to help me look for what I needed help finding and couldn’t find but then all of a sudden he wants to acknowledge me and then not only that he wants to act like I’m about to steal this stuff from the store rather than purchase it.? based on looking around at the shelves in the store and the fact that everything is either out of stock or locked up behind glass clearly this store gets hit with shoplifting a lot which makes this whole interaction, somewhat understandable and relatable however, when I pointed it out to him and expressed the way that the interaction offended me, he responded with sarcastic, aggressive comments, no sympathy whatsoever it was insane. I genuinely love shopping at Walgreens, regardless of the fact that it is a little bit expensive sometimes it is normally my go to quick grocery store for prescriptions, drinks, cigarettes, etc. however, I will not be returning to this location ever again somebody needs to really do a lesson on customer service because this is not it and it’s not how you treat people. If you’re gonna go about it just assuming that every single person who comes in the store is gonna steal from your store then you’re gonna lose several loyal customers like you just did with me. All the wild some guy in a backpack is walking out with a reusable shopping bag full of crap and all he gets told is have a good night. The hypocrisy is insane. I just don’t get it.
Neener 5 months agoPharmacist there was incredibly rude, argumentative about something I had no interest in one way or another as it didn't solve the actual problem of filing my rx, and gaslighting me about something he said he'd do right before a support staff person distracted him and he lost track of what he was doing instead of simply saying "oops" like a normal, secure human. Clearly the corporation doesn't support their pharmacy staff in healthy ways, including enabling them to express humility or compassion. NEVER go to the Pharmacy here. I've been 2 or 3 times, the location at Northgate and Roosevelt is much better.
Nick Foote 9 months agoI was told twice that my controlled medication would be filled last week, and both times I received no update. I only found out it was backordered after following up multiple times. No one from the pharmacy contacted me to let me know. I am now completely out of my medication, which puts my health at risk. When I asked for answers, I was given vague responses like "you'll get a notification if it is filled." It took pushing hard just to get a clear answer. The lack of communication and accountability here is unacceptable. I had to request a physical copy of my prescription and start over somewhere else. If your health depends on reliable medication access, I suggest using a different pharmacy.
