**BUYER BEWARE! Compromised gift cards on the shelves—and management is too clueless to care!** There's a well-known scam where someone opens an un-purchased gift card, records the full redemption code for themselves, and then scratches off just a portion of that code on the card so the eventual buyer can't read it. They then reseal the packaging and put it back on the shelf. Here's the scam: you buy it, pay to load money onto it, and don't discover anything is wrong until you open it at home and find part of the code scratched away. You can't redeem it—but the scammer can, because they already copied the complete code before they damaged it. They just wait for someone to purchase and load the card, then drain the funds using the code they saved. By the time you realize what happened, the store won't refund you and can't give you the missing digits, and your money is already gone. Because this already happened to me twice, I now open gift cards in-store before buying to make sure they haven't been tampered with. Tonight I checked 6 Amazon gift cards and every single one was compromised! Part of each redemption code was scratched off and the grey sticker protecting the redemption code had already been removed. Six out of Six! That's not a fluke; that's a shelf full of compromised gift cards waiting for the next victim. So what did I do? I reported it immediately to the manager, Nancy—and watched her completely fail to grasp the problem. I handed her clear, physical evidence that her store was selling tampered merchandise, and her response was to tell me I'm "not allowed" to open the gift card packaging before purchasing and had the audacity to call security on me! A loyal customer who shops here frequently! Let that sink in: I caught a theft scheme red-handed, and the manager treated *me* like the criminal. Then security arrived, and somehow the comprehension level dropped even lower. I showed him every scratched-off code, one after another, and the most intelligent thing he could produce was: *"So are you going to buy these gift cards or not?"* Buy them?! I just showed you they're worthless! He then had the nerve to threaten me with arrest if I didn't purchase the compromised gift cards! I have never witnessed this level of sheer incompetence in retail. Two employees, handed undeniable evidence of fraud, and neither one had the basic sense to understand what they were looking at. Instead of thanking me for catching what their own staff missed, they treated me as if I was doing something wrong by making sure the gift card I wanted to purchase hadn't been tampered with! The audacity! The stupidity! The absolute nerve—toward someone who has spent money in this store more times than I can count. I am reporting this to corporate first thing in the morning!

The worst pharmacy ever. They had my prescriptions for 4 hours and they wouldn't fill it in a reasonable time. I am at risk and need those medications. So unprofessional. Will never return for pharmacy help. *edit* It took 4 hours to get my prescription transferred which is ridiculous. I will be calling corporate and the pharmacy manager about this. DO BETTER! People can be seriously harmed because of this pharmacy's negligence.

This was probably the least helpful pharmacy staff I have ever encountered. After standing in the line being ignored and dismissed for 10 minutes by people doing nothing. I asked about saline nasal spray because I could not find it. Finally I get, its on 19 if we have it and they walked off. Dont come here expecting any help from these people. Five people behind the counter and zero interest in customers.

Jill and Joshua are the standouts here! Jill always helps find solutions and helps navigate insurance. Joshua is always quick to remember names and greet customers with such kindness. It is a hard business but these two are amazing!!!!

The worst pharmacy in the world!! Wish I could give zero stars. The staff is rude, and the prescriptions take over 48 hrs to be filled or longer. Moving to the Walgreens on chimney rock. They are fast respectful and considerate of your time.
