The pharmacy is pretty decent. But almost everything else I would buy there, shampoo, deodorant, razor blades… they are all locked up. At checkout I was asked “is that everything?” I said “everything else was locked up”. I got a snarky response from the lady cashier that said “we are just trying to keep things on the shelf for you”. That response wasn’t necessary. I was simply passing on that I won’t take the time to find an associate to walk around with me and open up all the cases I need opened up to buy whatever else I wouldn’t want there. As a business, you don’t want silent customers that are dissatisfied. They don’t share their dissatisfaction they just go somewhere else. I’m still going somewhere else obviously but I gave the courtesy of letting them know that it’s an issue for me. What they do with that information, I’m guessing nothing given her response, is up to them. The only reason I will return is for the pharmacy who generally do a pretty good job. And maybe that’s all they want to sell anyway.

Walgreens on TCJester is very helpful and professional. We did not have a good experience at another area Walgreens so tried this location. It is great. Especially Olga in the pharmacy and Laura in front of store.

My favorite Walgreens in all of houston. Miss Sheila always makes me feel so welcomed and makes sure my experience is quick and efficient. That woman is ALWAYS there working hard! She’s the reason I keep coming back every week. Keep grinding, Miss Sheila!!

The pharmacist instructed me to reuse a medication vial clearly labeled by the manufacturer as ‘single dose’ and ‘single use only.’ I questioned this at the counter and was told to use it multiple times anyway. This contradicts FDA regulated labeling and standard pharmacy safety protocols for sterile injectable medications. This was not a preference issue or misunderstanding. It was explicit instruction to disregard manufacturer labeling. Patients should not be put in the position of choosing between safety and following incorrect pharmacy guidance. What was even more upsetting is the pharmacist blatantly telling me he didnt care who i told because he wasnt going to get in trouble for dispensing a single use vial and instructing me to use it multiple times. My question (still unanswered) : if the FDA requires strict labeling for medication from manufacturers, why are pharmacists not required to dispense accordingly?

He really has nothing to do with Walgreens, but I was panicking because I had to use money the other day on something I couldn't afford and I didn't expect to have to pay $88 for two cans of soup and two things of medication I'm talking about over the counter medication at Walgreens so it was $88 and while I was panicking the man behind me could see I was and he paid for it. So whoever that man was I want to tell you again thank you. You saved my life because my husband and I have both been out of work for the last well I've been out for 2 years but he's been out for 2 and 1/2 weeks and we're not getting paid and I wouldn't have been able to pay my rent if it wouldn't have been for that man. So thank you My faith and humanity is temporarily restored
