I am so upset. I picked up a new prescription, and the pharmacist didn’t take the time to explain anything. She put a sticker on the bag but didn’t show it to me or explain what she was doing. Then she placed the medication bag inside a Walgreens paper bag and then into a plastic bag, without ever mentioning that it needed to be refrigerated right away or asking if I had a place to store it or if I was heading somewhere. In my experience, good pharmacists take a moment to walk you through a new medication, especially when there are important instructions like storage that can affect safety and effectiveness. I didn’t notice the sticker until about 24 hours later, and by then I had no idea if the medication was still safe to use. When I called to follow up, she said, “I asked you if you had questions.” But that misses the point. Patients rely on pharmacists as the experts to proactively explain critical instructions. Simply asking if I had questions isn’t the same as making sure I understand how to safely store a new medication. It’s like a teacher asking students what they want to learn instead of actually teaching the material. From what I understand, pharmacists are expected to offer counseling and explain things like storage requirements, not just rely on a sticker. That didn’t happen here. I’m sharing this because I hope future patients get clearer guidance. A quick conversation could have easily prevented this situation. It’s really frustrating and honestly concerning, and potentially dangerous.

I can't blame them for all the anti-theft crap, but I should have known better and left. I pressed a "help" button for a locked product and between their long response time and grabbing the wrong product I missed my train. The manager had a line at the register when another cashier had no one and all the BS makes this "convenience store" inconvenient

This walgreens was on backorder for a medication, so I had my prescription sent to another pharmacy. The other pharmacy was claiming I couldn't pick up my prescription for some b.s. reason. I called this pharmacy, and while I was on the phone, the person called the other pharmacy to help the pharmacist correct the error. All the other pharmacist needed to do, was try to run the order. I am so grateful they reached out on my behalf and helped me to resolve my issue immediately. I really wish i would have gotten the woman's name. She was very helpful. I hope they stay stocked because i'd prefer to go to this pharmacy and not any other ones.

Convenient location across from the park, but that's about it. Kind of small and a bit dingey otherwise.

Dirty store. Crowded. Little or No air conditioning. Went in for deodorant. Was locked in a case. Waited to get it out. Waited in line to checkout. Item had no barcode. Was labeled as $7 in the locked case. Cashier charged me $10. Item I was given was marked as “not for individual sale” by the manufacturer. Just avoid this store. Walk another 2 blocks down to CVS
