I came in to pick-up prescriptions and was told to spell my last name three times by Nassab. Even after the fact, she did not find my prescription and made the experience unnecessarily difficult for me being a paying customer of the pharmacy. She made no effort to figure my situation out and seemed liked she just wanted to go home. I asked for her name for this reason and will likely not be returning to this Walgreens, please do better with hiring. I rarely leave reviews but this has to improve for our community to have comfortable access to medication management.

I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with the Walgreens pharmacy on Del Paso Rd. in Sacramento. The pharmacy staff often come across as rude and dismissive, especially when calling about issues with prescriptions or medications. Instead of helping resolve problems, it feels like they just want to get you off the phone. There have been repeated mistakes and miscommunications with medications, and the overall attitude from staff makes it seem like customer care is not a priority. Dealing with prescriptions is already stressful enough — patients deserve professionalism, compassion, and actual assistance when problems come up. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short.

The pharmacy called me to tell me I could no longer use my copay card for one of my prescriptions. Okay fine but the pharmacy staff that called was so incredibly rude and condescending it was unnecessary. They have allowed me to use my copay card for YEARS, so if this is there mistake fine, whatever but speaking to me as if I’m the one scamming them is unacceptable. If their employees were overriding this coupon incorrectly that is THEIR problem, not mine. This is one of the worse customer service experiences I’ve had from an already bad store. The place is abysmal and their pharmacy manager is the most vile person we’ve ever dealt with. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, so guess they don’t have to worry about getting any of my pharmacy or other business going forward. Completely ridiculous and unnecessary. It’s clear this person and most of the employees could care less about customer service and experience and I’m sure nothing will come of this because we we’re basically called liars and thieves when is reality it’s THEIR own poor management that led to this oversight! Their employee literally put in the coupon card for me last month and now I’m the scammer?! Great job losing an entire family of customers.

Extremely disappointed with the Walgreens pharmacy on Del Paso Rd. My husband’s medication suddenly jumped from around $30 to over $900, which is an insane increase. When he contacted the pharmacy to ask why the price had changed so drastically, the staff completely dismissed his concerns and made no effort to look into it or help find a solution. You would think a price increase that massive would raise some kind of concern or at least motivate someone to double-check what was going on. Instead, they acted like it wasn’t their problem. We ended up transferring the prescription to Costco pharmacy, and magically the medication went right back down to around $30 again. That alone tells me Walgreens either didn’t care enough to investigate or simply doesn’t value its customers. We will not be using this pharmacy again.

My dentist sent a prescription over yesterday to Walgreens. I went to pick it up about an hour later. Pharmacy said prescription not filled due insurance info not submitted by dentist. Then said filling would be delayed several hours because of a system crash day before. Pharmacist extremely rude, talking over me and cutting me off a lot both yesterday and when I called today. He was Rushing to get off the phone actually as I was trying to offer added info to look up prescription. Only reason I went to this pharmacy as no car right now and right near my apt. Shitty customer service. Never again.
