Walgreens – Greenback & Dewey (24 Hours) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars for Alan. I stopped in around 3:33 a.m., freezing outside, just needing a Dr Pepper and a lighter so I could get back to my warm car as fast as possible. Alan was in the middle of stocking shelves and doing his job, but he immediately stopped what he was doing to help me and made sure I got exactly what I needed quickly. He was pleasant, affable, and knowledgeable, and the brief conversation we had genuinely made the stop better — which says a lot at that hour. It didn’t feel rushed or transactional; it felt like real customer service. On the way out, I realized the least I could do was leave a review. Good customer service goes a long way with me, and when someone delivers it the way Alan did, I make a point to say something. Walgreens corporate: give this man a raise. Five stars — because employees like Alan are the reason people come back, even at 3:30 in the morning.

This Walgreens is awesome because it’s open 24 hours, but the location is not the greatest or the safest customer service can use some improvements

What a breath of fresh air compared to the Walgreens in Nevada County, where it feels like you stand in long lines forever and end up paying sky high prices. No more of that for me. I’ll happily plan my prescription pickups when I’m visiting my son in Carmichael instead. I also really liked the old time feel of the store. It made the visit even more enjoyable.

Quick, friendly service, they even got a Drive-thru pharmacy, wait time is low. They are open 24 hours if you need a late time snack or some over the counter medication. This location has a Fed-Ex and photo service.

The customer service representative, Debra, who works in the pharmacy at Dewey and Greenback, is the best! She is smart, kind and very patient and answers all my questions!
