Today I visited Walgreens pharmacy in Belle Meade, Tennessee. I typically frequent the Walgreens in Dickson, TN. I was so incredibly impressed by the professionalism, hospitality, and kindness I was given by the staff at the Belle Meade Walgreens Pharmacy. My cashier was extremely kind, VOLUNTEERED to help me problem solve, and continued to help his colleagues and people visiting through the drive through. When I originally called this morning around 12:00pm, the same gentleman answered the call and was extremely supportive and diligent in getting my prescription transferred and filled. I truly felt as if I was talking to a friend. It is uncommon that I receive this level of care and service in many Walgreens, these individuals are the GOLD STANDARD of customer service and care. I am so appreciate for the experience I had today, and will most likely switch home pharmacies so I can continue to have these wonderful encounters! The only thing I regret is not getting the gentleman’s name before I left for this review. Truly I want to say thank you to the staff for working hard today, it meant a lot for this girl!

Without fail, every single time, this pharmacy has technicians and pharmacists who will tell you they have sent your prescription to the correct Walgreens location. You will then show up to pick up your medication only to find out that they NEVER sent the prescription to the correct location like they said they would. If this had happened once or twice, I could probably understand. I don't know whether it's incompetence, dishonesty, or sheer laziness, but neither is acceptable.

I wish I could give it zero Stars and am not surprised that there is a barrage of bad reviews. They locked the door on me as I walked up with more than five minutes before close. Other people who were also pulling up to grab a last second thing saw and audibly commented about how rude it was. This is a convenience store. It takes me roughly 20 seconds to go get the one thing I'm coming for. I already know where it is. You think you're a Walmart and I'm going to peruse the shelves for half an hour? I could make this purchase 3 or 4 times before close, Start to finish. I pride myself on never staying past close in a store and generally with at least a few minutes to spare. Acting like I'm doing something wrong by trying to buy something at your store DURING STORE HOURS is exceptionally, aggravating and unnecessary. Heavy set, middle aged, brown haired, white lady who seemed absolutely happy to give me the middle finger know that I won't be coming back. Good riddance.

What kind of pharmacy is closed on the weekends? This isn’t an issue of lack of staff, this is pure incompetence at the organizational level. I’ve never had a single positive experience here, the staff is rude and slow, and the pharmacy is closed on weekends?? I can’t wrap my mind this. This PHARMACY is a Monday-Friday operation, presumably because people are only sick during traditional office hours? I will absolutely never spend another dollar here and will drive the extra 5 minutes to CVS from now on. What a joke!!

Pharmacy is closed on weekends. Takes forever to get medicine even filled (days). The store is ok if you just need to get a Gatorade. But that’s all this Walgreens location is good for. I understand they might be understaffed but still. That’s no excuse. Find a better Walgreens.
