Cynthia Lee a month agoI am relieved to have finally transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy after numerous frustrating experiences at this Walgreens location. On one occasion, I received an incorrect quantity of medication and had to personally count the prescriptions in front of staff before the error was acknowledged. Even then, there was no apology or explanation. I have also repeatedly been told that medications were out of stock, only to discover that no effort had been made to proactively order them despite knowing I was a regular customer who needed those prescriptions. Several times, I had to make multiple calls and even travel to other Walgreens locations across town to obtain medication that should have been available or ordered in advance. One particularly troubling experience involved being told that my healthcare provider had not called in a prescription, despite the fact that I had already received text confirmation from Walgreens that the prescription had been received by Walgreens and was simply out of stock. Rather than helping solve the problem, staff gaslighted me and gave inaccurate information. My healthcare provider had to contact them about this issue. The customer service has also been consistently disappointing. Staff often fail to greet customers, make eye contact, or communicate in a professional and respectful manner. Customers deserve to feel acknowledged and cared for when seeking healthcare services. What concerns me most is the impact on the surrounding community. I am fortunate to have transportation, flexibility, and the ability to visit other locations when problems arise. Many people do not have those options or resources. When a pharmacy repeatedly fails to provide accurate information, maintain inventory, or offer basic customer service, it creates barriers to healthcare for the very people who may depend on that location the most. This is particularly concerning because inadequate pharmacy services often disproportionately affect historically underserved and lower-income communities, where access to quality healthcare is already limited. Walgreens has a responsibility to ensure that every community receives the same standard of care and service. Walgreens should take a serious look at the quality of service being provided at this store. The community deserves better.
broskii. exe a month agothey got this girl that answers the phone with a attitude every single time like dude all people want is medication why you gotta be like that. she ruins my whole mood everytime i call up there like it’s hard to answer the a phone and do your job also it’s just the pharmacy part that’s messed up almost all of them act like it’s such a hassle to do anything i’m black but i have to say it’s only the black lady’s that act like their like is miserable , everyone else is cool though
Jeaneen Richard 8 months agoThis is probably one of the worst Walgreens in the city! Many of the staff, there are absolutely unprofessional and rude at best. Is it because this is in a black neighborhood? I’m not sure, but this kind of attitude is strictly uncalled for when I am using your Pharmacy when there’s so many more I could be using it is just downright ridiculous. No wonder some of the Walgreens are closing down, because the quality and service you get is just not where it is anymore. I initially gave them two stars, but after reading everyone else’s comments, I decided that they probably really deserved only one or zero stars!!!
Kayla Adams a year agoThis Walgreens pharmacy has the most pathetic, rude, unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. Last time it was the pharmacist being rude to not only me, but my husband, AND my doctor. So when I called to get my prescription filled this time and there was an issue, yes I got upset and said something but this is AMERICA!! WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, thinking I was hung up on but a lady named Jennifer called me back and I explained, apologized and I MADE IT RIGHT, that should have been the end of it. Nope. The technician who I thought hung up on me wasn't having it and decided to confront me anyway. Super unprofessional to pick a fight with a customer. Keep your feelings at home. Not only did she say when I asked her did the lady I spoke to tell her I was sorry but she said "yeah but I wanted to confront you myself". So being apologetic doesn't matter when you're not used to someone being accountable, you have to stay mad. Then when I went to pay for my medicine, she accused me of THROWING my money at her which I did not do. I have absolutely NOTHING to gain by throwing my money nor did I want anymore confrontation. I have called Walgreens customer relations and reported this pharmacy AGAIN. Judging by the reviews, it's not the customers, it's the unprofessional pharmacy staff creating problems. And I hope something gets done soon. That woman has no business dealing with people's medications with an attitude like that. Just because your job is professional doesn't mean you are professional. Take your medications elsewhere to get filled if you want to avoid attitudes, spitefulness and a problem with the first amendment. I will never be back to this Walgreens.
DC Real 7 months agoStay far away. Employees who bully, gaslight, and refuse to do their job are met with praise and fair treatment. While the ones who actually care about the job are also met with bullying, gaslighting, and a complete lack of understanding for personal matters. Unless you enjoy crooked management teams that cowardly hide behind corporate instead of admitting they are wrong stay far. FAR. Away from this place. There is a reason they are closing all the stores in Nashville and this store is Patient Zero. There is also reason why there is NEVER more than two people working this establishment in the evening. Every Walgreens I unfortunately visit solely to see how they are ran I see multiple people behind registers, people stocking, and a person in photo. This location does not believe in this because it is not within the “budget”. So next time you think of visiting here remember that Walgreens stores across the country cut budgets to stores in low income areas. And I have been told this to my face and told I wasn’t doing enough when I asked for help. Stay FAR FAR away.
